The Trade Desk is hiring a senior software engineer for GTM Engineering to build internal AI and agentic systems that improve sales and revenue workflows. The role involves architecting and developing agentic systems using LLM orchestration frameworks, integrating GTM platforms like Salesforce and Outreach, setting technical standards, and partnering with leadership to drive measurable sales outcomes. Candidates must have a BS in Engineering, 8+ years software engineering experience including 2+ years with production LLM or agentic applications, strong Python and TypeScript skills, experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.), enterprise integration expertise, and full-stack development experience. Technical leadership experience is required. What you'll do
- Architect and build agentic systems automating and augmenting GTM workflows including pipeline hygiene, account research, call prep, deal risk scoring, forecasting, and rep coaching using LLM orchestration frameworks
- Define agentic platform strategy including agent design patterns, tool-calling conventions, retrieval-augmented pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop guardrails
- Integrate core GTM systems (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Slack, internal platform data) as agent-accessible tools and data sources
- Set technical bar for the pod by reviewing designs, establishing engineering standards, and leading architectural reviews
- Partner with Product, Sales, Trading, and RevOps leadership to translate agentic capability into measurable outcomes such as pipeline velocity, forecast accuracy, rep ramp time, and sales productivity
- Mentor engineers on AI-first thinking
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering related discipline
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- At least 2 years building production LLM or agentic applications (agents, RAG pipelines, tool-use, multi-agent orchestration)
- Deep fluency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Hands-on experience in agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel
- Strong command of enterprise integration patterns: REST/GraphQL APIs, event-driven architecture
- Experience connecting SaaS GTM platforms programmatically
- Experience building full-stack applications end to end
- Track record as a technical lead: driving architectural decisions, writing RFCs, raising quality bar without management authority
- Nice to have: experience in Sales/RevOps tooling, GTM engineering, ad tech, media, or programmatic advertising
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Gainsight or similar GTM platforms via API or integration layer
- Experience evaluating and red-teaming LLM agents for safety, reliability, and correctness
- Exposure to media buying, campaign performance data, or advertising analytics
