Full job description

Senior Enterprise Account Executive role focused on selling Smartly's AI-powered advertising SaaS platform to enterprise clients in North America. Responsibilities include identifying and closing new business, managing a sales pipeline, preparing demos and trials, and collaborating with internal teams. Requires 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, strong connections in key verticals, ability to engage C-level executives, and willingness to travel. What you'll do

  • Sell the Smartly product by identifying, cultivating, and closing new logo business within the assigned territory targeting enterprise organizations
  • Acquire and manage a working knowledge of the platform's value proposition and customer needs
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline from outbound efforts alongside SDR and Marketing teams
  • Gain experience selling a dominant SaaS platform and/or managed and creative services to leading brands
  • Prepare demos, trials, and conversions by working closely with Sales Engineering and Implementation teams
  • Ensure operational excellence by partnering with internal teams including SDRs, Sales Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Art Directors, and Leadership

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales and business development experience in B2B SaaS businesses or corresponding agencies, preferably in digital marketing and paid social
  • Ability to create connections and engage with a variety of audiences, including C-level decision makers
  • Existing connections in verticals like automotive, e-commerce, entertainment, CPG, gaming, retail or travel
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding quota on a consistent basis
  • Strong desire to learn about the product to effectively sell to C-suite and end users
  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings, conferences and industry events
