Full job description

The Senior Director or Director, Publisher Growth will manage a team of 2-5 to grow relationships with adMarketplace's publisher supply partners, driving revenue growth through upselling, negotiating placements, and influencing strategy. Responsibilities include managing 10+ global enterprise accounts, mentoring account managers, leveraging data for growth, leading contract renewals, and collaborating cross-functionally. Requires 8+ years client-facing experience, 3+ years management, expertise in digital advertising monetization, data analysis, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office required. Role based in New York with up to 20% travel. Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 plus commission and equity. What you'll do

  • Own a verticalized book of business and revenue target across 10+ global enterprise accounts
  • Manage and mentor a team of account managers and TAMs, including prioritization, career development, and expectation setting
  • Leverage data and insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions
  • Upsell ad-selection integrations by positioning adMarketplace's solutions against publisher needs
  • Navigate complex org structures to build relationships with senior decision makers
  • Lead commercial contract renewals with enterprise partners, expanding partnerships through upsell opportunities while negotiating commercial terms and technical integrations
  • Lead QBRs and joint business planning sessions with senior stakeholders to secure buy-in on growth opportunities
  • Act as a representative of the Publisher team internally with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Product to build cross-team roadmaps, processes, and pipelines based on market feedback and pain points
  • Coordinate with demand-side teams to build GTM strategies that articulate the value of adMarketplace supply for advertisers
  • Support Business Development in onboarding net-new partners
  • Represent adMarketplace in market as an industry expert by having a full-funnel understanding of digital marketing, competitive landscapes, and media value

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of account management, business development, or other client-facing experience
  • Experience managing and growing monetization partnerships across the digital advertising ecosystem
  • Exposure to performance-based commercial models including CPC and CPM
  • Experience working with AI publishers and AI-powered integrations is a plus
  • Expertise in data analysis, revenue projections, and opportunity assessment
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service
  • Strong consultative sales and objection handling skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of Media Math and basic advertising metrics
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising and adtech landscape, including publisher monetization models, marketplace dynamics, and media value creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
