Full job description

Senior Director, Client Services responsible for strategic oversight and revenue growth on enterprise accounts. Lead and grow client relationships, build trusted client partnerships, understand client business needs, and identify opportunities for dentsu line of business. Expertise in leveraging data and analytics for marketing decision-making and digital media principles. Manage client relationships, drive growth and profit, lead teams, and oversee client needs, staffing, quality, and budgeting. Develop client revenue plans and navigate complex client ecosystems. Requires 10+ years experience in agency and publisher/ad-tech sales roles, knowledge of Google DV360, Campaign Manager 360, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, data visualization tools, and familiarity with data processing and data science concepts. Strong communication, client presentation, and sales skills required. Salary range $167,000-$190,000 with medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and other benefits.

What you'll do

  • Deliver the service proposition to clients and manage the business end-to-end on individual clients
  • Act as the strategic lead and primary point of contact for clients
  • Maintain solid relationships through strategy development, education, and client communication
  • Develop relationships with executive/C-suite clients
  • Deliver against specific client cross sell and upsell opportunities
  • Drive growth and profit and ensure seamless delivery
  • Manage an integrated and motivated team around clients’ objectives and culture
  • Lead relevant new business initiatives with New Business and Marketing team
  • Oversee client needs, staffing requirements, quality of work, and budgeting
  • Communicate clients’ business strategy and needs cross-functionally
  • Educate self and clients on capabilities available from Merkle | Cardinal Path and dentsu agencies
  • Develop collateral to support growth pursuits and share with colleagues
  • Develop revenue generating plans for clients through incremental and new opportunities
  • Navigate complex client partner ecosystems
  • Optimize drivers of direct sales including team, technology, spend and programs
  • Ensure and oversee excellent relationships with client staff to maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute implementation plans and meet deadlines
  • Enhance staff competence by planning delivery of solutions and answering questions
  • Promote the mission and values of the organization internally and externally

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 10+ years of experience across a combination of agency and publisher/ad-tech sales-side roles
  • Knowledge of key marketing delivery platforms including Google DV360, Campaign Manager 360, Facebook Ads
  • Knowledge of reporting platforms including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Data Studio, Tableau
  • Familiarity with data processing tools (BigQuery, R, SQL) a plus
  • Familiarity with traditional media concepts a plus
  • Familiarity with data science/modeling concepts and uses in service of media and marketing decision-making a plus
  • Adept at delivering client-facing presentations
  • Skilled at developing and incorporating sales opportunities organically within client discussions
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
