Full job description

The GPL (Tools) Manager is responsible for leading the Group Product Lead pod managing TrueCRM and seller tooling. This role owns end-to-end business outcomes, leads a team of 5-7 domain owners, drives problem validation and prioritization, plans product landing with cross-functional teams, defines and runs outcome measurement, and sets operating rhythms. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field with 8+ years in program/process management and 6+ years management experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees and 10+ years in product or business program management with leadership experience. Familiarity with CRM domains, Microsoft Advertising sales motions, and cross-org leadership is essential. The role is full-time, on-site in Redmond, WA; Mountain View, CA; or New York, NY. Salary ranges from $130,900 to $277,200 annually, higher in SF Bay Area and NYC.

What you'll do

  • Own the outcome end to end, accountable for business result of TrueCRM and seller-tooling capabilities
  • Lead and grow the GPL pod managing 5–7 single-threaded domain owners across multiple domains
  • Run a problem-first operating model driving validation and prioritization based on ranked, field-evidenced problems
  • Own landing and the build/run boundary, plan landing with Enablement, PMM, FSE and Support
  • Define and run measurement establishing metrics tree and north star, set baselines and targets, run monthly metrics review
  • Set the operating rhythm with lightweight cadences and decision log; partner across Product/Eng, GTA and Finance for headcount and capability plan

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience
  • 6+ years management experience (people, project, process, vendor, change)
  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience
  • 8+ years people management experience
  • 10+ years in product management, business program management, or seller-tooling/CRM platform leadership including managing teams or single-threaded owners
  • Proven track record turning ambiguous, cross-functional problems into prioritized roadmaps with measured business outcomes
  • Deep fluency across CRM / seller-workflow domains (planning, pipeline, monetization, insights, engagement)
  • Solid cross-org leadership: Product/Eng, Enablement, PMM, FSE, Finance and field sales stakeholders
  • Experience in advertising, sales strategy & operations, or comparable GTM-adjacent product function
  • Experience standing up a new team or function and defining its operating model, metrics, and governance from a clean slate
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Advertising sales motions and the Search / DNV / Gaming lines of business
