Full job description

Senior Digital Director responsible for prospecting and closing large sales in GumGum’s contextual, creative, and attention advertising platform. Role reports to Group Digital Director and requires autonomous work supported by a cross-functional pre-sales team. Requires 6+ years of digital media sales experience with a proven track record of revenue growth and managing a large book of business. Responsibilities include driving revenue for UK agencies, upselling clients, sales prospecting, relationship development, translating client insights to product teams, ownership of role, leveraging media industry contacts, acting as trusted advisor, and internal collaboration. Preferred skills include programmatic experience and innovative use of AI. Location: London, England, United Kingdom.

What you'll do

  • Drive revenue for UK agencies by managing a book of business
  • Upsell current clients in current and new products
  • Generate high volume of sales activity including cold calling, presentations, RFPs, and creative sales solutions
  • Cultivate relationships with brands, agency contacts, and clients
  • Translate client insights to internal product team
  • Take ownership of role and contribute solutions to support team goals
  • Leverage existing network of media industry contacts
  • Act as trusted advisor and deputy to Group Digital Director
  • Establish as key stakeholder within the business
  • Collaborate internally with Account Manager, Client Strategists, Programmatic Solutions Manager, and other teams

Requirements

  • 6+ years of selling experience in digital advertising sales
  • Experience managing a large book of business
  • Strong selling experience and track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • List of brand and agency contacts in the region
  • Programmatic experience preferred
  • Confident and innovative use of AI to support efficient working
  • Outgoing and able to build and maintain/grow client relationships at all levels
