Full job description

Senior Designer role at Smartly focused on designing creative assets for Display and Social campaigns. Responsibilities include collaborating with Art Directors and Developers, leading design projects, developing reusable templates and design systems, applying motion design and animation, contributing to campaign ideation, managing multiple projects, and mentoring junior designers. Requirements include 5+ years experience in graphic/brand/visual design or art direction, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, strong design principles knowledge, excellent communication skills, experience in digital advertising and motion design, ability to manage multiple projects, and comfort with rotating shifts. Location: Bangalore.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with Art Directors and Developers to create and refine display and social creatives
  • Lead design projects from concept to delivery ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines
  • Develop innovative, reusable templates and design systems to streamline workflows
  • Apply motion design and animation techniques to produce dynamic content
  • Contribute to ideation and concept development of campaigns
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple projects
  • Mentor and collaborate with junior designers to foster creativity and process improvement

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, Brand Designer, Visual Designer, or Art Director
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, XD) and design tools such as Figma
  • Strong understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and layout best practices
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Experience in digital advertising, HTML5, dynamic advertising, and motion design (preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Produce high-quality design deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Align creative decisions with user needs and business objectives
  • Comfortable working with a rotating shift schedule
