adMarketplace seeks a Demand Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship with largest demand partners, defining solutions engineering processes. Responsibilities include leading technical discovery, designing solution architectures, managing POCs, onboarding demand integrations, providing technical guidance, maintaining documentation, and collaborating cross-functionally with Account, Product, and Engineering teams. Requires 4-7+ years in solutions or integration engineering in ad tech or programmatic advertising, hands-on experience with oRTB, REST/JSON APIs, product feed management, event tracking, attribution infrastructure, and SQL proficiency. Must have strong technical documentation and client-facing skills, experience in retail media ecosystems and advertiser measurement workflows, and a bachelor's degree in a technical field. Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 plus bonus and equity. Location: New York, NY.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients to gather, document, and prioritize based on business impact
  • Outline scope integration requirements and dependencies
  • Design client-specific solution architectures and produce detailed integration specifications
  • Own client-specific POC design and execution
  • Evaluate Build vs. Configure tradeoffs and make recommendations
  • Validate data accuracy and identify discrepancies between internal and partner data sets
  • Own technical onboarding experience for new demand integrations including product and asset feed setup, API integration, bid automation, and credential provisioning
  • Provide ongoing technical implementation guidance and serve as primary escalation point for client-side technical issues
  • Produce and maintain client-specific technical documentation
  • Monitor partner technical channels for escalations and route internally
  • Support integration of oRTB-based third-party demand partners and new vertical feed categories
  • Participate in external technical sessions with enterprise partners as primary technical voice
  • Partner closely with Account, Product, and Supply-side Solutions Engineer teams
  • Translate client-specific technical requirements into actionable inputs for engineering and product teams
  • Represent technical voice of partner in internal reviews and launch planning
  • Support feature adoption measurement and client-specific product training
  • Maintain structured tracking of open technical workstreams and surface risks to leadership
  • Coordinate publisher feasibility assessments for partner-driven supply requirements
  • Contribute to Account team’s operating rhythm and define process
  • Support billing methodology discussions by translating technical attribution data into commercial inputs

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years in solutions engineering, technical partnerships, or integration engineering role, ideally within ad tech, retail media, or programmatic advertising
  • Hands-on experience with oRTB, APIs (REST/JSON), product feed management, event tracking, and attribution infrastructure
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Proven ability to conduct client-facing technical discovery and translate business requirements into engineering-ready requirements
  • SQL proficiency
  • Experience conducting client-facing technical sessions with enterprise partners
  • Experience working within a RACI-structured, cross-functional environment alongside Account, Product and Engineering teams
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building new processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with retail media ecosystems and advertiser measurement workflows including attribution modeling, ROAS optimization, smart bidding, and data pipeline infrastructure
  • Bachelor’s degree, technical field preferred
