Full job description
Ensure efficient operation of SQL servers 24/7. Provide level I and II support, grant access, handle simple and ad hoc requests, maintain servers, and adhere to disaster recovery plans. Develop and maintain security and disaster recovery plans, server capacity forecasts, and long-range requirements. Troubleshoot complex issues, manage projects, maintain production servers including installations and configurations, apply patches and updates, monitor server health, and collaborate with IT. Assist development team with feasibility and task definition. Stay updated on technical advancements. Train and mentor new hires. Requires 4-7 years of experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL) in cloud and on-premise environments, strong problem-solving, planning, communication skills, and willingness to provide after-hours support.
