AppsFlyer is a technology company specializing in mobile attribution and marketing analytics. Protect360 is their anti-fraud solution protecting advertisers from fraudulent traffic using machine learning, deep learning, and AI on large data streams. The data scientist role involves analyzing fraud patterns, developing and deploying advanced prevention models, and leveraging data tools and AI methods. The tech stack includes Python, Spark, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Kafka, AWS, Airflow, Scala, and BigQuery. Responsibilities include mining data for fraud patterns, developing ML/DL/AI models, translating business needs into solutions, designing ML pipelines, collaborating with teams, and staying updated on AI research. Requirements include a M.Sc in a relevant field, 5+ years in applied data science or algorithm development, experience with ML/DL/AI models, strong Python and SQL skills, understanding of data pipelines and MLOps, mentoring ability, and a proactive approach. Bonus points for ad-tech or fraud detection experience, familiarity with LLMs or generative AI, experience with distributed data systems, or referral by an AppsFlyer employee.
