Microsoft is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for AdTech Clean Room platform engineering. The role involves designing, building, securing, and operating infrastructure for Microsoft's clean room capabilities including privacy-safe audience activation, identity resolution, measurement, and partner data collaboration. Responsibilities include developing scalable platform patterns, building reusable infrastructure components, implementing secure and compliant infrastructure for sensitive data, managing access controls and security, partnering with Privacy, Security, and Compliance teams, enabling identity and data services, developing observability and operational automation, defining platform architecture and standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Required qualifications include a Master's degree with 3+ years or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in relevant fields or equivalent experience, with preferred 5+ years in infrastructure, cloud, platform, DevOps, SRE, or data platform engineering including Azure. Experience with secure environments, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, privacy-safe data collaboration, and large-scale analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Spark, Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, or Synapse is required. Salary ranges from $119,800 to $234,700 annually, higher in San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. Locations include Redmond WA, New York NY, Atlanta GA, and Mountain View CA.
