AppsFlyer is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the technical direction of data pipelines processing billions of web events. Responsibilities include building and improving end-to-end pipelines with strict SLAs, owning pipeline design and architecture, writing design documents, reviewing team designs, making trade-offs between SQL and Spark, collaborating on cross-team designs, planning and prioritizing projects with the team lead, representing the team in technical discussions, and managing production incidents. Requirements include 6+ years of experience in data/big data engineering, a B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent, deep hands-on experience with Apache Spark, cloud analytical warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks SQL), data-system design, workflow orchestration (Airflow), cloud environments (preferably GCP), strong programming skills in Scala and Python, a strong focus on data quality, and practical use of AI tools in engineering work. Bonus points for experience in attribution/AdTech data systems, advanced Scala or functional programming, attribution models, SQL-based transformation frameworks, Kafka or streaming systems, and running LLMs or ML pipelines in production.
