Microsoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Global Marketing Data Engineering team. Responsibilities include building scalable data pipelines, implementing semantic models with DAX, managing data architecture and governance, collaborating with stakeholders, developing proof-of-concepts, and driving CI/CD and DevOps practices. Candidates must have a Master's degree with 3+ years or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience in relevant fields, with preferred experience of 6+ or 8+ years respectively. Additional qualifications include data governance experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and stakeholder management. The position is full-time, on-site in Redmond, Washington, with a salary range of $119,800 to $234,700 annually in the U.S., higher in certain metro areas.

Mentor and support engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing
Influence long-term data strategy with recommendations on emerging technologies and platform modernization

Requirements
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR equivalent experience

2+ years experience with data governance, data compliance and/or data security
Proficient in designing data architectures, data models, and scalable data platforms
