Full job description

Microsoft Advertising seeks a Senior Client Director to drive revenue and client satisfaction by developing strategic client relationships and delivering customized digital advertising solutions. Responsibilities include leading sales strategy for France, designing multiyear growth plans, acting as a trusted advisor to senior marketing leaders, influencing strategic decisions, embedding AI in marketing processes, creating revenue expansion mechanisms, contributing thought leadership, coaching teams, managing pipeline and executing sales goals. Required qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing or related fields with focus on online media or digital advertising, experience in online media or Search Engine Marketing sales and service, and full proficiency in English and French.

What you'll do

  • Develop, lead and execute MSA France sales strategy & priorities to enable advertisers’ growth while partnering with internal teams to develop and execute account plans
  • Design and lead multiyear account and portfolio growth strategies, mobilizing internal partners and maintaining business rhythm across account teams
  • Translate client business drivers, seasonality, and market context into investment strategies, joint business plans, and expansion opportunities across Microsoft solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior marketing and digital leaders by turning platform capabilities, data, and insight into clear business value
  • Influence strategic customer decisions, challenge legacy approaches, and position Microsoft Advertising within broader Microsoft growth story
  • Lead outcome-led AI and intelligent marketing conversations, embedding AI into planning, activation, optimisation, and measurement
  • Create revenue expansion mechanisms such as playbooks, investment theses, growth levers, and operating cadences for durable impact
  • Contribute thought leadership in executive forums, industry conversations, and customer roundtables
  • Coach peers and partners, lead deals and negotiations, review account plans, and share templates and playbooks
  • Lead pipeline reviews of top opportunities, identify roadblocks, and ensure resources are engaged to overcome objections
  • Execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals following MSA Solution Selling process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media or digital advertising OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media or digital advertising OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience
  • Full proficiency in English and French (both written and verbal)
  • Experience making recommendations to senior-level executives (preferred)
