Full job description

Lead strategic sales efforts for Nexxen SSP, focusing on DSP partnerships. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, identifying and prioritizing DSP partners, managing executive relationships, leading negotiations, collaborating with product and cross-functional teams, analyzing market trends, optimizing sales performance, driving revenue growth initiatives, ensuring compliance, reporting to senior leadership, mentoring junior team members, representing the company at industry events, and driving strategic planning and innovation. Requires bachelor's degree, 5+ years in digital sales or business development, programmatic experience with SSP/DSP platforms, knowledge of CTV and In-Mobile applications, proven sales success, strong communication skills, industry contacts, and willingness to travel up to 20%. Position is full-time, hybrid (3 days in-office in New York, 2 days remote). Salary range $80,000 - $135,000 with benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, unlimited vacation, and company-paid holidays.

What you'll do

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in developing and executing high-impact sales strategies targeted towards DSPs
  • Spearhead identification and prioritization of potential DSP partners
  • Cultivate and nurture executive-level relationships with key stakeholders at DSPs
  • Lead complex negotiations and deal structuring processes with DSP partners
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to align product roadmap with DSP partner needs
  • Engage cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and operations
  • Maintain understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging trends within the DSP ecosystem
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to track effectiveness of sales initiatives and optimize strategies
  • Lead ideation and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies
  • Deliver executive-level reports and presentations to senior leadership
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
  • Represent the SSP at industry conferences, forums, and events
  • Drive strategic planning initiatives and innovation projects to enhance SSP's competitive positioning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in digital sales or business development
  • Programmatic/Buy-side experience, especially with SSP and/or DSP platforms
  • Knowledge of CTV and In-Mobile Applications
  • Proven track record of successful sales and revenue growth targeting logos and advertisers
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new products and technology
  • Energetic with a high level of initiative and motivation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills in writing and verbal
  • Strong list of contacts within the programmatic ecosystem
  • Willingness to travel (< 20% of the time)
