Full job description
FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Senior Backend Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain high availability advertising platform software. The role requires 4+ years of Python and Django experience, RESTful API development, PHP knowledge, and experience with Kubernetes/EKS and AWS production deployments. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, designing software, training junior engineers, documenting technical requirements, leading technical design, tracking performance metrics, ensuring quality assurance, and acting as a technical liaison. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7-10 years of relevant work experience. Salary range is $148,028.68 to $222,043.02 based on experience.

Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
Design new software and web applications

Requirements
4+ years of experience working with Python and Django
Experience creating/developing RESTful APIs using Django
Experience with PHP
Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, AWS, owning production deployments at scale for critical backend services
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
