Full job description

Senior Automation Engineer responsible for owning and evolving the Playwright-based end-to-end test suite. Duties include test architecture, framework health, CI/CD pipeline stability, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage across functional, accessibility, performance, integration, and visual regression testing. Collaborate with Lead QA and engineers to align automation with product changes. Requires 4+ years experience with Playwright or equivalent in TypeScript projects, strong knowledge of Page Object Model, fixture-based test design, visual regression tests, and accessibility testing per WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Nice to have experience with Storybook visual testing, Vercel deployments, API testing (REST/GraphQL), and familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify APIs.

What you'll do

Own and evolve the Playwright-based end-to-end test suite
Responsible for test architecture and framework health
Maintain CI/CD pipeline stability
Ensure comprehensive coverage across functional, accessibility, performance, integration, and visual regression testing
Work closely with Lead QA and engineers to align automation with product changes
Develop and maintain test suites
Manage CI/CD
Expand test coverage
Triage and debugging
Performance and non-functional tests

Requirements

4+ years with Playwright or equivalent in a TypeScript project
Strong command of Page Object Model and fixture-based test design
Experience writing and maintaining visual regression tests
Accessibility testing with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
