The Trade Desk seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design, build, and scale data-driven solutions for forecasting, pacing, and recommendation systems. Responsibilities include developing forecasting models using statistical, ML, and deep learning methods; building and optimizing pacing algorithms; creating custom scalable solutions; collaborating with product and engineering teams to deploy models; defining success metrics; conducting offline and online evaluations; and communicating results. Requirements include proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), experience with distributed computing (EMR, Databricks, Spark), strong foundation in statistics and ML, and 5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ with PhD). Preferred experience in programmatic advertising and real-time auctions.
