Microsoft Monetization is seeking a senior machine learning engineer to design and implement ML models powering advertising systems across Microsoft Ads, Bing, Copilot, and related products. Responsibilities include defining ad relevance problems, improving algorithms using deep learning in NLP and computer vision, deploying scalable solutions, and analyzing model performance. Candidates must have a degree in a relevant field with 4+ years experience or equivalent, strong expertise in NLP, computer vision, deep learning, Python, C++, and experience in online advertising and distributed training of language models. Experience with responsible AI practices and peer-reviewed publications in AI/ML conferences is preferred. The role is full-time, on-site in Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA. Salary ranges from $119,800 to $234,700 annually, higher in Bay Area and NYC.
