Full job description
Microsoft Advertising is hiring Senior Applied Scientists to design and implement machine learning models and algorithms that improve ad relevance and user experience. The role involves developing models such as transformers, generative AI, and reinforcement learning for Microsoft Ads and Copilot. Responsibilities include building scalable algorithms, conducting A/B testing, building data pipelines, and applying latest AI research. Candidates must have a degree in a related field with relevant experience, programming and data analysis skills, and expertise in large-scale machine learning deployment. The position is full-time, on-site in Mountain View, CA or Redmond, WA. Salary range is USD 119,800 - 234,700 per year, with higher ranges for specific metro areas.
