The role involves diagnosing complex issues in AI advertising systems, shipping fixes, designing robust evaluation methods, developing reusable tooling, and communicating results to cross-functional teams. Required skills include a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in quantitative fields, strong applied statistics and causal reasoning, fluency in Python and SQL with large datasets, and experience owning production models. Preferred experience includes ads, recommendation systems, real-time auctions, probability calibration, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. The position is full-time based in Seoul, Korea.
