Senior Analyst - Business Insights (Finance) role at InMobi in Bangalore. Responsible for owning finance data end-to-end, acting as SME for finance data sources and business logic across FP&A, Accounting, Revenue, and Business Units. Design and build Python and PySpark pipelines to ingest, transform, and reconcile data from ERP, billing, ad platform, and operational systems. Model data for finance use cases with clear lineage and documented logic. Connect datasets to create a single version of truth. Apply statistical methods including regression, time-series forecasting, variance decomposition, hypothesis testing, and anomaly detection to analyze performance and provide actionable recommendations. Automate reporting with scheduled, tested data solutions and build dashboards in Rill and Power BI. Develop AI agents and intelligent workflows for automation and insight generation. Work independently to scope requirements, deliver solutions, and maintain code. Required skills include 2-5 years experience in analytics, data engineering, or finance systems; strong Python, Spark/PySpark, SQL, Rill or similar BI-as-code tools, Power BI, statistics, ETL/ELT, LLM APIs, and finance fundamentals. Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields required.

Own full lifecycle of technical design, build, testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring, and issue resolution
Write modular, reusable, version-controlled code maintainable by others
Requirements
2 to 5 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or finance systems
2+ years Python experience writing tested, modular code for data pipelines and automation
2+ years hands-on experience with Spark / PySpark on Databricks or comparable platform
Strong SQL skills with experience modeling data for analytics and finance use cases
1+ year hands-on use of Rill or comparable BI-as-code tool (Looker LookML, Cube, or similar) or ability to become productive quickly
Working knowledge of Power BI data modeling and DAX (or equivalent)
