Full job description

Senior Advertising Sales Manager role focused on building and managing strategic partnerships with Tier 1 Brands and agencies in the Finance vertical across the US. Requires 5+ years full cycle sales experience and 10+ years in digital advertising sales. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth, developing client relationships, advocating for clients internally, and selling advertising strategies. Must have strong communication, business acumen, hunter mindset, and experience with Salesforce or CRM tools. Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office in NYC. What you'll do

  • Drive revenue growth by developing, closing and scaling a pipeline of advertiser campaigns and partnerships within assigned brand and agency accounts
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients through phone, email, social media, in-person meetings and networking events
  • Act as internal advocate for clients and provide client/market-driven insights to Product team
  • Learn, evangelize, position, and sell advertising strategies and innovative solutions across industries
  • Balance time invested between low- and high-spend potential accounts and assess their fit within sales pipeline

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of full cycle sales experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a solutions-based sales role within the digital advertising industry (media, SaaS, programmatic, data, etc)
  • Demonstrated track record of building trust based relationships with key decision makers at large enterprise advertisers and tier 1 agencies
  • Existing relationships with clients & agencies in the Finance vertical
  • Deep knowledge of digital advertising, performance based media and advertising technology
  • Strong business acumen and ability to present and communicate ideas/concepts clearly and concisely
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to exercise consistent emotional intelligence, professionalism and persistence
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Ability to navigate and communicate with both internal and external teams
  • Hunter’s mindset with strong desire to win and ability to aggressively prospect, build rapport, and close business with new customers
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or another CRM system and related productivity tools
  • Deep accountability and bias for action
