The Trade Desk seeks a senior sales professional to lead and develop strategic partnerships with agencies and advertisers in Switzerland. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing commercial agreements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including product and engineering. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, strong negotiation skills, existing relationships with key decision makers in Switzerland, and the ability to communicate effectively with C-level clients.

What you'll do

  • Drive and foster strategic partnerships with local and pan-European agencies and advertisers located in Switzerland
  • Own and cultivate strong relationships with advertiser C-Suite executives and key agency partners
  • Articulate the unique value proposition of the media buying platform, leveraging industry insights to drive adoption
  • Accelerate revenue growth through collaborative strategies with the Strategic Accounts team and internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with agencies
  • Contribute to product roadmap prioritization by advocating for client needs with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams
  • Represent The Trade Desk's expertise and vision for the market

Requirements

  • Proven record of accomplishment in digital advertising outbound sales
  • Agile self-starter comfortable building from the ground up
  • Experience working with local blue chip companies and cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record in a sales role working with advertisers and agencies
  • Existing relationships with decision makers at major agencies and advertisers in Switzerland
  • Experience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationships
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability, able to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts
  • Capacity to participate in technical product roadmap and product scoping exercises
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to speak with C-level clients
  • Passion for owning a room, closing deals, and getting wins
  • Proven record of accomplishment of exceeding revenue expectations
