The Trade Desk seeks a senior client-facing professional with 5-7+ years in online advertising, ad tech, or digital media, including 3+ years in account management or consulting. Responsibilities include managing key agency and brand accounts, advising on data-driven marketing strategies, collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams, leading client onboarding and training, and driving long-term account growth. Candidates must have strong programmatic advertising knowledge, experience with DSPs, SSPs, or MarTech, excellent communication skills in English and German, and a sales-driven mindset. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

What you'll do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of key agency and brand accounts by building trusted relationships and aligning account strategy, performance, and retention with client business objectives
  • Act as a trusted consultant and platform expert, advising clients on effective, data-driven, and innovative marketing strategies
  • Partner closely with Sales, Trading, and cross-functional teams to onboard new clients, scale existing accounts, and unlock incremental revenue opportunities
  • Lead client onboarding and ongoing enablement, including training on programmatic fundamentals, platform enhancements, new features, and partner integrations
  • Proactively lead accounts by anticipating client needs, guiding next steps, and driving long-term growth beyond day-to-day execution
  • Represent client needs internally by influencing product and partnership development, contributing to Client Services best practices, and supporting onboarding and development of new team members

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in online advertising, ad tech, or digital media
  • 3+ years in a client-facing role such as account management, strategic services, or consulting
  • Proven track record of growing revenue and strategic value within accounts
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, measurement solutions, and the technical ecosystem
  • Experience within DSPs, SSPs, publishers, agencies, or MarTech environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts and initiatives in parallel
  • Sales driven mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus
  • Curious and analytical mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
