Full job description

The Senior Account Executive at Kargo is responsible for managing an assigned book of agency relationships to drive consistent and growing revenue. The role requires 4+ years of experience in selling digital, CTV, and programmatic advertising, strong Salesforce pipeline management, and established agency relationships, particularly within WPP. Key responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, expanding agency relationships, proactively sourcing new business, providing market intelligence to internal teams, and strategically activating internal resources to enhance client proposals. The position demands strong communication skills and the ability to consult on digital ad products and programmatic mechanics. Salary range is $180,000 to $220,000 USD. Location: New York, NY.

What you'll do

  • Own assigned book of agency relationships and convert them into consistent, growing revenue
  • Achieve and confidently forecast individual quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Engage key investment leads and planning contacts across the book consistently
  • Source new business proactively through outreach and relationship-building
  • Provide structured, useful market intelligence feedback to product and strategy teams
  • Activate internal teams strategically to strengthen proposals and client experience

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience selling digital, CTV, and programmatic advertising
  • Established relationships within WPP and broader agency holding company networks
  • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline and close deals
  • Working fluency in digital ad products, programmatic mechanics, and competitive landscape
  • Salesforce discipline with current and accurate pipeline documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: Experience selling consultative or custom solutions
  • Preferred: Existing relationships with brand-side contacts
