Full job description

Amazon Ads Large Customer Sales seeks a Senior Account Executive to lead strategic Grocery category accounts. Responsibilities include managing advertiser relationships, driving media investment, delivering tailored Amazon Ads solutions (display, video, Streaming TV, Audio, Sponsored Ads, AdTech, AMC), meeting revenue targets, building senior client relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing data-driven insights, and improving processes. Requires 5+ years B2B sales and 7+ years digital media ad sales experience. Preferred experience in grocery leadership and managing executive relationships. Location: New York, NY.

What you'll do

  • Own and lead the overall advertiser relationship and strategy for complex, upper-tier accounts
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets by securing sustained media investment partnerships
  • Deliver structured, objective-based long-term plans to drive growth and improve advertiser experience
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client and agency stakeholders
  • Set customer objective-based priorities for the cross-functional account team
  • Orchestrate internal partner teams including Account Managers, Campaign Creative Managers, Programmatic Solutions Consultants, Analytics & Insights, AdTech, Product Sales Specialists
  • Develop data-driven insights, advertiser/agency education, and industry perspective
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively with client and agency senior leadership
  • Contribute to and potentially own cadenced reporting and narratives (WBR, MBR, QBR, etc.)
  • Improve, streamline, and eliminate excess processes; drive efficiencies and develop best practices
  • Influence sales organization, partner teams, and senior leaders; advocate for customers within Amazon
  • Participate in and/or lead strategic initiatives; influence partner team roadmaps

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience
  • Experience building new customer relationships, closing sales and generating revenue
  • Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
  • Experience in grocery leadership
