Full job description

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Account Executive (Acquire) focused on acquiring new advertisers. Responsibilities include driving new business acquisition, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, building pipeline through targeted outreach, leading discovery conversations, presenting the platform, building relationships with senior and C-level stakeholders, developing competitive strategies including RFP responses, negotiating agreements, collaborating cross-functionally for onboarding and campaign success, managing pipeline and forecasting, and leveraging market insights to improve win rates.

What you'll do

  • Drive net new business acquisition, generating and closing opportunities with new brands
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through scaled investment
  • Proactively prospect and build pipeline through targeted outreach and strategic account planning
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client objectives and align solutions
  • Present and demonstrate platform value to clients
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers including C-level stakeholders
  • Develop and execute strategies for competitive opportunities including RFP responses
  • Negotiate and close agreements including MSAs and long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure onboarding and campaign success
  • Maintain pipeline management and forecasting with visibility into performance
  • Use market insights and competitive intelligence to improve win rates
