Full job description

InMobi is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer III with expertise in backend engineering and data engineering for the SSP Exchange team. The role involves designing and delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices. Responsibilities include building real-time and batch data pipelines using Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing distributed systems for low latency, championing code quality and modern engineering practices, mentoring juniors, and leading architectural decisions. Candidates should have 5-8 years of backend experience in large-scale, high-traffic environments, strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Go, familiarity with Python, solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, experience with modern data infrastructure (Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Databricks, Presto, ClickHouse), exposure to cloud-native architecture (GCP/Azure), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and strong problem-solving skills.
