Full job description

Sales Manager/Director role for China International at MiQ, a global programmatic ads company. Responsible for bridging product marketing and sales teams by creating and organizing product and sales knowledge including pitch decks, case studies, product introductions, and competitor analysis. Work closely with marketing and sales for key client pitches and marketing activities such as roadshows and events. Key responsibilities include developing and closing new agency and marketer business, leveraging existing networks to win China outbound business, building relationships with agencies and marketers, closing and growing campaigns, leading RFP responses, collaborating internally to up-sell campaigns, managing marketing budgets to increase client engagement, executing strategic commercial plans to meet revenue targets, and promoting international digital advertising and overseas business expansion. Requires fluency in Mandarin and English, strong client/agency relationships in China outbound market, 3-5+ years in digital advertising sales preferably programmatic, deep product knowledge, direct agency experience, and experience in sales planning and forecasting.

What you'll do

  • Develop and close new agency and marketer business
  • Leverage current agency/client network to open doors and win China Outbound business
  • Identify and build relationships with agencies and marketers, especially international marketing/investment decision makers in China
  • Close and retain/grow campaigns from portfolio
  • Be familiar with differences between International and China programmatic activation, consumers, and product/targeting capabilities
  • Lead responses to RFPs and prepare customized proposals
  • Collaborate with Sales Support, Client Services, Trading teams to up-sell existing campaigns
  • Use marketing, PR, events, travel & entertainment budget to raise client engagement
  • Build and execute strategic commercial plan to hit revenue targets
  • Act as evangelist for International digital advertising and overseas business expansion
  • Understand MiQ competitive differentiators in online advertising

Requirements

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Strong relationships across clients/agency groups within China outbound market
  • 3-5+ years experience in digital advertising sales, preferably programmatic
  • Understanding client business objectives and translating into media proposals
  • Deep product knowledge for programmatic solution selling
  • Direct agency experience as customer, partner, or employee
  • Experience building, justifying and executing sales plans/forecasts
