Full job description

Lead Microsoft Advertising sales in Canada, managing Account Executives/Managers to drive revenue growth and client relationships. Develop and execute sales strategies, forecast sales revenue, and manage customer satisfaction. Requires 7+ years sales/marketing experience with leadership in large organizations, 3+ years people management. Preferred 10+ years experience and 2+ years leading sales teams. Salary range CAD $181,000 - $303,000 per year. Location: Ontario, Canada.

What you'll do

  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring as well as attracting and retaining great people
  • Drive business growth by leading sales planning and strategies to achieve consumption and sales targets
  • Set direction, create vision, inspire others and demonstrate presence
  • Hold team accountable for forecasting expected sales revenue within portfolio/customer segments by defining expectations and goals, reviewing forecasts, assessing and mitigating risks, and ensuring strategy alignment with business priorities
  • Leverage expert understanding of digital media platforms and technologies including competitor potential impact to understand industry trends and market opportunities
  • Direct long-term customer satisfaction growth and maintenance strategies and drive business portfolio management
  • Manage relationships with customer stakeholders and collect feedback to identify drivers of satisfaction or dissatisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies for maximizing selling and customer add opportunities, provide guidance on storytelling strategies to lead account conversations, evaluate account performance, develop short- and long-term strategies, and act upon optimization opportunities
  • Act as thought leader and trusted advisor to executive-level business decision makers, leveraging and socializing best-in-class sales and communication techniques
  • Lead teams and key internal and/or external stakeholders with deep industry expertise to build stronger relationships with decision makers across business areas

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 7+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations OR Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 8+ years experience OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years direct/formal people management experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience OR Master's Degree AND 6+ years experience OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience leading teams and/or managers in a Sales organization
  • 4+ years direct/formal, indirect/informal, and/or project team people management experience
