Full job description
Liftoff is hiring a Sales Engineer to partner with Sales in driving deals by showcasing product expertise and acting as a technical advisor. Responsibilities include advising advertisers on attribution and performance optimization, collaborating with Sales to create technical narratives, leading discovery and handling objections, developing solutions with Engineering and Product, and serving as a subject matter expert on Liftoff platforms and integrations. The role requires analyzing data via SQL, enabling go-to-market teams, identifying customer feedback patterns, representing Liftoff's views on industry topics, and collaborating cross-functionally to influence product strategy. Requirements include a customer-centric mindset, strong communication skills, analytical and troubleshooting abilities, experience presenting to senior audiences, willingness to travel 10-25%, a bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of professional experience. Nice to have skills include SQL proficiency, app/web development knowledge, and scripting skills in Python or JavaScript. The position is full-time, remote, based in London, UK, and offers equity and health benefits. Travel for team gatherings quarterly is expected.
What you'll do
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to top advertisers on attribution measurement and performance optimisation
- Partner with Sales to craft technical narratives and identify opportunities
- Lead discovery efforts and navigate technical objections
- Develop solutions for advanced customer use cases collaborating with Engineering and Product
- Serve as subject matter expert on Liftoff platforms and integrations with MMPs, SKAN, supply partners, and measurement frameworks
- Translate technical features into business outcomes to influence platform adoption
- Investigate performance concerns by querying and analyzing data via SQL
- Leverage data to support technical evaluations and attribution debates
- Enable go-to-market teams through training and technical resources
- Identify patterns in customer feedback to improve tooling, automation, and support workflows
- Represent Liftoff’s point of view on industry topics such as SKAN vs. MMPs, PSA vs. Ghost Ads, MMM, and cross-channel attribution
- Stay updated on mobile measurement and ad tech trends and synthesize insights for sales and product strategy
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to influence product roadmaps and feature rollouts
