Full job description
InMobi Advertising seeks a Sales Director – Performance Solutions for its San Mateo, CA office (on-site, no remote). The role focuses on selling demand-side solutions within the mobile app performance ecosystem, including DSPs, MMPs, SKAN, and app retargeting. Responsibilities include identifying and developing relationships with strategic advertisers and agencies, growing repeat business, partnering with AdTech players, attending industry events, driving product innovation feedback, and collaborating internally to meet marketer needs. Candidates must have 5-10 years of experience selling to large brands and advertisers, deep knowledge of mobile app performance advertising, strategic relationship-building skills, and a BA/BS degree (MBA or Master's preferred). What you'll do
- Identify, close, and develop relationships with strategic advertisers and independent agencies for app performance and retargeting
- Develop and grow repeat business from existing customers and execute long-term commercial contracts
- Liaise with key AdTech players like MMPs, DMPs, Platforms to drive partnership conversations
- Attend industry events to represent InMobi with thought leadership on performance advertising and industry trends like SKAN
- Work with product team to drive innovation and bring market feedback into feature requests
- Collaborate with product marketing, external partners, marketing, and internal teams to drive enablement, referral programs, thought leadership, and process efficiencies
- Align internal resources including product, engineering, and business operations to meet marketers' needs
Requirements
- Experience selling demand-side solutions to large brands and advertisers directly across the advertising technology ecosystem
- Deep understanding of mobile app performance ecosystem including DSPs, MMPs, Native Media, KPIs, SKAN
- Experience selling into gaming studios, brands, and independent agencies across app performance ecosystems
- Strategic relationship building approach rather than transactional
- High energy, self-starter with ambition to drive performance and business impact
- Proactive problem solver focused on solutions
- Experience with campaign delivery and operations to understand common challenges
- BA/BS degree required; MBA or Master's degree is a plus
