Xapads Media seeks a Sales Director based in Chicago to drive revenue growth for its Connected TV business across the Midwest. The role focuses on selling the UNWIRE CTV platform and other advertising solutions. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, leveraging agency and brand relationships, managing the sales cycle, and collaborating with internal teams. Candidates must have at least 8 years of sales experience in AdTech, Programmatic Advertising, Digital Media, or Connected TV, with proven success selling CTV solutions and a strong network in the Midwest market. The role requires a results-driven, strategic sales leader with a hunter mentality and ability to engage senior decision-makers.

What you'll do

  • Drive new business development and revenue growth across the Midwest market, focusing 80% on UNWIRE and 20% on other products (Xaprio)
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy aligned with company revenue objectives
  • Leverage existing relationships with agency holding companies, independent agencies, and direct brands to generate new opportunities and accelerate deal closure
  • Position and sell CTV, video, and omnichannel advertising solutions to senior marketing and media decision-makers
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement
  • Lead the entire sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, solution development, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Collaborate closely with internal product, operations, account management, and leadership teams to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction
  • Represent Xapads Media at industry events, conferences, client meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting
  • Stay current on market trends, competitive developments, and emerging opportunities within the CTV and digital advertising landscape

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of successful sales experience within AdTech, Programmatic Advertising, Digital Media, or Connected TV
  • Proven experience selling CTV solutions and deep understanding of the streaming and video advertising ecosystem
  • Strong existing network of agency and brand relationships across the Midwest market
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience working with leading AdTech, CTV, DSP, SSP, or media companies
  • Ability to engage with senior-level decision-makers and influence complex buying processes
  • Highly energetic and results-driven sales leader
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven hunter mentality with a history of opening doors and creating opportunities
  • Strong relationship builder with a credible industry reputation
  • Passion for innovation and helping brands navigate the evolving media landscape
