Full job description

InMobi is hiring a Sales Director based in Chicago to drive sales across the Midwest region. The role requires 12-15 years of brand and agency sales experience and at least 5 years in programmatic ad tech. Responsibilities include managing relationships with agencies, brands, and clients, leading programmatic buying partnerships, managing data partnerships, and contributing to sales strategy. The candidate must have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, and hold a BA/BS degree or equivalent. The position is full-time, on-site, with some travel required. Salary range is $117,000 to $185,000 USD base, with additional variable pay and potential equity. What you'll do

  • Drive sales from a portfolio of key agencies, brands, and direct clients across the Midwest Region
  • Create and sell effective mobile advertising and platform solutions
  • Participate in and shape the InMobi North American sales strategy, go-to-market, and execution plan
  • Identify, acquire, advise, and develop new and existing relationships with targeted strategic brands, agencies, and partners
  • Develop new and longstanding business with advertiser clients using knowledge of ad tech market competition and InMobi’s unique selling propositions
  • Own and lead private programmatic buying partnerships with PMPs and others
  • Manage data partnerships with direct clients and agencies to enable media activation of InMobi Exchange and InMobi Audiences
  • Identify and close upsell opportunities with existing clients for various InMobi platform offerings
  • Leverage industry and product knowledge to develop and demonstrate a point of view with go-to-market strategies internally and externally
  • Communicate cross-functionally to align InMobi products and resources to meet marketer needs

Requirements

  • 12-15 years of experience in brand and agency sales
  • At least 5 years in the programmatic ad tech ecosystem
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, DSP, DMP, or other online advertising company
  • Strong knowledge of ad tech market competition and InMobi’s products
  • Ability to develop creative advertising solutions
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Authentic communication skills and ability to form consultative, credible, and long-standing client relationships
  • Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills
  • Proactive problem solver with cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Eager, curious, and fast learner
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; MBA or Master's degree is a plus
