Full job description

Samba is seeking a Regional Director, Southern Europe based in Paris, France. The role involves driving revenue growth across Southern Europe by targeting holding companies, media agencies, and advertisers. Responsibilities include managing strategic relationships, developing go-to-market strategies, exceeding revenue targets, hosting business reviews, representing the company at industry events, and collaborating with sales and leadership teams. Requirements include 6+ years of commercial ad-tech and data sales experience, strong negotiation and consultative selling skills, deep understanding of digital and programmatic advertising, excellent presentation and forecasting skills, and fluency in French preferred. The position is fully remote with international travel as needed.

What you'll do

  • Own and expand strategic relationships with holding company leaders and teams across Data, Analytics, Investment, Programmatic and Ad Tech sectors in Southern Europe
  • Drive revenue growth by developing and executing local and regional go-to-market strategies, agency account plans, and enterprise-level data agreements
  • Consistently exceed data revenue targets through consultative selling, complex negotiations, accurate forecasting, and maintaining a high quota of in-person client meetings and engagement
  • Host business reviews (QBRs) with external and internal leadership, provide education and enablement, and own agency contact mapping and communication
  • Represent the company at industry events as a brand ambassador, maintaining a deep understanding of market trends, competitors, evolving technologies, and client needs
  • Develop self-service growth plans for programmatic audience solution customers and establish downstream opportunities across platform partners
  • Collaborate closely with Samba sales and functional leadership to deliver on client needs, establish revenue targets, and participate in sales process development and enablement

Requirements

  • 6+ years of commercial Ad-tech and data sales experience at data platforms, Ad networks, DSP, DMP, SSP
  • Experience with DAAS/SAAS
  • Strong contact network across European markets
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue goals
  • Experience building and managing high-value advertising territories with emphasis on agency holding company partnerships
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to structure and close complex, enterprise-level deals
  • Deep understanding of digital, ad tech and data ecosystem including programmatic media, data partnerships, and audience onboarding/targeting
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills using Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Ability to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline insights
  • Team player who adapts well to change and works effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating internationally
  • French speaking highly preferred; other EU language skills a plus
  • Ability to travel internationally as required
