Full job description

The Software Engineer (Tier-2) role supports availability, performance, reliability, monitoring, incident response, and operational excellence of FreeWheel platforms, focusing on the Streaming Hub application. Responsibilities include Tier-2 support for customer-facing issues, UI component maintenance, troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues, building automation tools, debugging code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, production support, release validation, and documentation. Requires experience with Python and/or Go, troubleshooting web applications and distributed systems, frontend basics, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/OCI), AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Lambda), monitoring tools, CI/CD practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git), Linux fundamentals, networking knowledge, and secure software development. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. 2-5 years relevant experience required. Work schedule may include nights and weekends.
