Full job description

The Publisher Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with publisher partners to optimize revenue and collaboration. Responsibilities include managing daily publisher communications, driving revenue growth, expanding partnerships with AI-powered and search publishers, collaborating with Business Development, and strategic account planning. Requires 3-5 years of account management or client-facing experience, preferably with search or AI publishers, strong consultative sales skills, knowledge of media math and digital adtech, and proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office. Compensation includes $90,000 - $110,000 base salary plus commission and equity. Location: New York, NY.

What you'll do

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with publisher partners ensuring smooth communication and collaboration
  • Drive revenue growth across new and existing publishers leveraging insights and strategies to optimize performance
  • Build and expand partnerships with AI-powered platforms and search publishers identifying new areas for scale and innovation
  • Collaborate with Business Development team to establish and cultivate relationships with new top-tier publishers
  • Act as reliable point of contact for publishers addressing queries and concerns promptly and effectively
  • Play active role in strategic account planning contributing to growth and development of key publisher partnerships
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of each publisher's business goals, metrics, and product objectives
  • Coordinate closely with demand-side teams to deliver optimal supply-side solutions and views to advertiser clients
  • Identify areas for product innovation by pinpointing pain points in service delivery and proposing solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of account management or other client-facing experience
  • Experience working with search publishers, AI publishers, or technology platforms leveraging AI in media and advertising is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer experiences
  • Strong consultative sales skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to understand and calculate basic Media Math
  • Solid knowledge of the competitive digital and adtech landscape
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office
