Full job description

The AWS Professional Services team seeks a senior ProServe Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud solutions for enterprise customers in French and English from Zurich. Responsibilities include leading solution designs for migrations, modernization, AI/ML, and cloud-native architectures, collaborating across Amazon business units, and providing technical expertise in pre-sales and implementation phases. The role requires 8+ years of cloud architecture experience, expertise in AI including Generative and Agentic AI, and experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, or Commerce sectors. Fluency in French is essential. Preferred qualifications include advanced technology degree or AWS Professional certification and experience with Agentic Commerce, AdTech/MarTech, and cross-Amazon collaboration.

What you'll do

  • Create and lead solution designs addressing customer business outcomes across migrations, modernization, AI/ML, and cloud-native architectures
  • Operate as the conduit between ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams, ensuring proposed solutions are realistic and optimized
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the pre-sales process and customer cloud journey
  • Architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer's needs
  • Bring particular depth in AI, Agentic AI, and RCG/Commerce verticals
  • Engage French-speaking customers and stakeholders, delivering technical guidance and presentations in French
  • Collaborate across Amazon organizations when pursuits span multiple business units including Commerce, Supply Chain, AdTech, and Customer Experience
  • Drive SOW signings and successful implementations that exceed CSAT expectations
  • Share knowledge through mentoring, training, and creation of reusable artifacts
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on emerging technologies including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent commerce solutions
  • Support diverse teams in making production-proven solutions discoverable and deployable across ProServe teams globally

Requirements

  • 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units, geographies, or matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated experience in Cloud or AI/ML solution design including Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures
  • Experience in the Retail, Consumer Goods (RCG), or Commerce industry vertical
  • Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification (preferred)
  • Expertise in Agentic Commerce solutions including autonomous AI agents for customer experience and intelligent retail operations (preferred)
  • Experience with AdTech/MarTech solutions and data-driven commerce (preferred)
  • Experience working across Amazon business units (AWS, Amazon Ads, Amazon Retail, Supply Chain, Connect) (preferred)
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken)
