Project manager

What you'll do

• Establish standard operating procedures and project guidelines to ensure seamless project execution
• Work with team/project leads on project planning and timeline estimation
• Oversee new project initiation including requirement gathering, resource planning, and finalizing ETA commitments
• Closely oversee critical client deliverables ensuring quality and timeline requirements are met
• Drive governance through communication cadence within teams and with senior stakeholders
• Participate in daily/weekly sync meetings and provide inputs as required
• Keep documented track of all active projects and status updates
• Conduct process audits and ensure compliance to set standards
• Identify potential risks to client experience and implement mitigation plans
• Conduct internal audits ensuring compliance to regulations such as ISMS/data security
• Conduct continuous capacity planning and ensure team structure aligns with client SLAs
• Define clear roles and responsibilities and set performance benchmarks
• Ensure continuous competency development including career graphs and training programs
• Assist in staffing and hiring initiatives including candidate preparation for client interviews
• Manage onboarding and project orientation/knowledge transfer for new members
• Conduct periodic people connect to gauge motivation and identify attrition warnings
• Ensure ongoing knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams
• Drive continuous employee engagement through performance reviews, feedback, and recognition
• Manage leaves/holidays to ensure adequate resource coverage
• Ensure compliance to internal systems such as Collage
• Make presentations on project status and present monthly/annual reports to senior management
• Participate in client meetings for new projects and requirements gathering

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience working on technology projects preferably in cloud and data engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience managing sizable (15+ members) technology teams and handling client expectations
• Strong understanding of complex technical concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree (e.g., MBA in Systems or Technology) preferred
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Strong understanding of online marketing campaigns, metrics, and KPIs is highly desirable
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and vendor partners
• Exceptional problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM are a plus
