MiQ is hiring a Programmatic Advertising Sales Manager for its China Outbound team. The role reports to the VP of China Outbound Business and involves managing sales opportunities, developing prospects, and orchestrating internal resources. Responsibilities include managing the sales cycle, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, pipeline building across multiple sectors (3C, e-commerce, travel, finance), sales strategy and pitch development, programmatic solution expertise (DV360, Amazon DSP, YouTube, CTV, video), and leveraging MiQ's global network for client solutions. Candidates should have 3-6 years experience in digital advertising or programmatic sales, preferably with China outbound advertisers or agencies, strong programmatic ecosystem knowledge, analytical skills, fluency in Mandarin and English, and strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. The role is full-time, mid-level, based in Shenzhen, and offers career growth opportunities into leadership roles.
What you'll do
- Take ownership of inbound and shared opportunities from agency partners and internal channels
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle from qualification to closing
- Focus on mid-to-small deal sizes with high conversion efficiency and fast turnaround
- Independently manage proposal development, pricing and negotiation
- Proactively build and expand a structured prospect pipeline across China outbound advertisers
- Continuously develop new business opportunities through agency and direct client engagement
- Develop and refine compelling sales narratives and pitch materials
- Translate client business objectives into competitive programmatic solutions
- Support strategic initiatives led by VP, including market mapping and go-to-market planning
- Build strong expertise across MiQ’s core programmatic capabilities
- Act as a solution consultant to bridge client needs with MiQ offerings
- Leverage MiQ’s global network to identify and mobilise best-in-class capabilities
- Navigate internal processes efficiently to deliver client solutions
- Collaborate with AMs, Traders and cross-market teams to ensure successful execution
Requirements
- Strong understanding of programmatic ecosystem, digital marketing and brand strategy
- Ability to independently manage sales cycle and develop client solutions
- Solid analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English
- 3–6 years of experience in digital advertising or programmatic sales
- Experience working with China outbound advertisers or agencies preferred
- Exposure to industries such as 3C, e-commerce, travel or finance is a plus
- Highly self-driven with strong execution capability
- Able to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships
