Full job description
The Trade Desk seeks a mid-level Account Manager to support the Client Services team in managing and growing key agency accounts. Responsibilities include building client relationships, providing strategic recommendations, onboarding new customers, delivering data-driven insights, training clients on platform features, collaborating with product management, and creating client service materials. Candidates should have 2+ years of client-facing experience in online advertising, 1+ year experience with DSPs (preferably The Trade Desk platform), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, proficiency in Excel and MS Office, and willingness to travel 1-2 times per quarter. The role offers a competitive salary range of $58,224–$106,744 CAD, stock-based compensation eligibility, and other incentives. Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
What you'll do
- Manage and grow a roster of key Agency Accounts by building strong client relationships
- Provide strategic recommendations and exceptional client service
- Collaborate with the Trading team to onboard new customers and provide data-driven insights
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify ways to grow current accounts
- Become an expert on The Trade Desk platform and offer insights to clients on campaign improvement
- Provide continual training to clients on new platform features
- Work with Product Management to define features and drive platform enhancements
- Help build the Client Services practice by creating training materials, best practices, sales materials, and customer-facing guides
Requirements
- 2+ years of consultative, client-facing work with online advertising experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience working within a DSP (TTD platform experience strongly preferred)
- Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Proven track record of growing accounts by forging strong client relationships
- Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confidence speaking to large groups
- Solid experience in Excel and MS Office
- Ability to use large data sets to build insights and strategy recommendations
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently on daily tasks
- Willingness to travel 1-2 times a quarter
