The Trade Desk seeks a mid-level product owner with 1-3 years experience in pharma media and advertising to lead product development for the Pharma vertical. The candidate must have deep expertise in HCP and DTC campaign workflows, health-native DSPs, data partnerships, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FDA, NAI guidelines). Responsibilities include defining product vision and roadmap, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with engineering and data science teams to build back-end systems and APIs supporting health-specific data ingestion, identity resolution, and measurement pipelines with privacy-by-design. Strong communication skills and ability to align cross-functional teams are required. Location: New York. Salary range: $103,200–$189,200 USD. What you'll do
- Work with senior leaders to contribute to product vision and roadmap for pharma and health media capabilities
- Develop HCP targeting audience activation workflows and integrations with health-native DSPs and data partners
- Meet with customers and conduct user feedback sessions to understand business problems and translate into scalable product requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to support back-end systems, APIs, and data architectures
- Support health-specific data ingestion, identity resolution, and measurement pipelines embedding privacy-by-design principles
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in pharma media and advertising
- Deep hands-on expertise across HCP and DTC campaign strategy, planning, buying, or product
- Experience at a pharmaceutical brand, health-specialist agency, health data company, or ad tech platform serving the pharma vertical
- Comprehensive knowledge of the health media ecosystem and data partnerships, targeting workflows, and measurement approaches specific to pharmaceutical advertisers
- Proven experience managing complex product integrations with health-native DSPs and specialized health data platforms
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance landscape governing pharmaceutical advertising including HIPAA, NAI health data guidelines, FDA promotional requirements, and emerging state health privacy frameworks
- Technical fluency to partner with engineering teams on API design, data pipeline architecture, identity resolution, and access control models
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment across product, legal, commercial, and engineering stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills to translate pharma industry requirements into engineering specifications and technical constraints into business narratives
