Full job description

MiQ seeks a Product Manager for China to localize and develop scalable products and solutions for China Outbound and MENA markets. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders, staying updated on industry offerings, and coordinating with commercial and trading teams to meet local market needs. Responsibilities include managing product portfolios, updating roadmaps, product localization, cross-functional collaboration, ensuring best practices, assessing product quality, analyzing product data, driving continuous improvements, identifying new product opportunities, leading product training, supporting client pitches, managing partnerships, contract negotiations, and evangelizing products. The candidate must have 3+ years experience in programmatic product development and scalable client solutions, strong project and stakeholder management skills, technical knowledge of digital ecosystems, experience with LLMs, and negotiation experience. The role requires self-motivation, organizational skills, communication skills, leadership, and alignment with company values. Locations include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.

What you'll do

  • Ensure all Products under your Portfolio deliver against product objectives and market OKRs as per set timelines
  • Update timelines for Product & Solutions roadmap internally and externally periodically
  • Ideate and contribute to product localisation for the China Outbound market including training and localisation of collateral
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, sales, trading, account management and CoE teams
  • Adopt best practices in product management, evaluate team operations and ensure consistency and timely project delivery
  • Create and regularly update product best practices for Commercial and Operations teams
  • Regularly assess product & solutions stability and quality, collect feedback and recommend improvements
  • Analyse product utilisation data and recommend regional product strategies and processes
  • Drive continuous improvements across products & solutions including process improvement
  • Identify opportunities for new product development or enhancement based on industry trends
  • Lead product training, monitor adoption and collect market feedback for future development
  • Support key client pitches based on local market needs and priorities
  • Identify and scope new partnership opportunities with data and supply vendors for China Outbound
  • Manage data partnerships to monitor value exchange and focus on value-driving partnerships
  • Contribute to contract negotiations with external vendors
  • Scope activation and operational nuances of product implementation/delivery with VP Operations & Head of Trading
  • Ensure alignment with legal, tech requirements and specifications
  • Evangelize and support adoption of global partnerships with local teams
  • Negotiate and gain advocacy from local market leads, operations lead, sales and trading teams
  • Be recognized as a product and domain evangelist inside and outside the company
  • Commit to meeting business deliverables and expectations across multiple products or product lines
  • Build and maintain a product wiki for China with all relevant product & solutions information
  • Contribute to a product team culture that inspires and motivates
  • Push and expand product development boundaries for China
  • Identify opportunities across company functions and bring them to the Product organization
  • Build board and executive level proposals for product growth
  • Lead ideation, technical development, launch and adoption of new features

Requirements

  • 3+ years of programmatic products / solutions development experience
  • 3+ years’ experience of developing scalable custom solutions for clients operating in North America, EMEA and/or APAC
  • Experience ideating, scoping and driving a new product area in an established product and technology team
  • Experience collaborating closely with Analytics, Engineering and Data Science teams
  • Experience working with commercial and operational teams to scope & deliver products & solutions
  • Experience leading complex external or internal projects across different teams and geographies
  • Deep and broad technical knowledge of digital ecosystem in North America, EMEA and APAC
  • Proven track record of leveraging various LLMs to deliver product enhancements & automations
  • Some experience negotiating data/platform/supply contracts & partnerships
  • Proven track record of effective project management, prioritisation & timely delivery of multiple products/projects simultaneously
  • Experience presenting to clients, senior internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a rigorous and timely manner
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Excellent prioritization & organizational skills
  • Eagerness to work in a ‘start-up’ environment that will rapidly iterate
  • Professional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Evidence of strong people management, employee development and building high performing teams
