The Trade Desk is seeking a Principal Researcher to lead user research across multiple product areas. The role involves partnering with product, engineering, design, and business teams to scope and execute strategic research projects using qualitative and quantitative methods. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a research team, gathering insights creatively, collaborating with business teams and clients, influencing product processes, communicating findings broadly, and developing research infrastructure. Candidates must have 12+ years of user research experience in technology, strong leadership and storytelling skills, ability to synthesize data from multiple sources, and experience championing research-driven decisions. Experience in B2B and advertising technology is a plus. The position is based in London.
