Full job description
Microsoft AI Monetization seeks a Principal UX Researcher to lead research for AI-powered monetization products. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, driving product strategy through rigorous research, collaborating across teams, guiding creative directions, identifying new opportunities, leading research on complex products, influencing organizational leadership, and elevating research quality. Required qualifications include advanced degrees or equivalent experience in related fields with significant UX research experience, expertise in quantitative methods (SEM, multivariate modeling), pricing and preference research (conjoint, MaxDiff), mixed methods research skills, excellent communication, and experience in B2B/B2C and AI products. The role supports accessibility and inclusive design principles. Locations include Mountain View, CA; Redmond, WA; and New York, NY. The position is full-time with a hybrid work model and offers a salary range of $142,800 to $274,800 annually, higher in SF Bay Area and NYC.
