Full job description
Microsoft Advertiser Platform team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead complex, multi-team initiatives and establish architectural direction for advertiser-facing products. The role involves full-stack development with technologies including React, TypeScript, C#, .NET, and Azure. Responsibilities include defining technical strategy, leading cross-team projects, building modern user experiences, applying customer insights, developing reusable platforms, and mentoring engineers. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 6+ years of coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, and must pass Microsoft Cloud background checks. Experience with secure, reliable, maintainable customer-facing solutions, scalable APIs, distributed systems, experimentation, telemetry, CI/CD, and live-site operations is preferred. The position is full-time and on-site in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
