Viant is seeking a technical lead to oversee design and implementation of backend services and frontend UI for its Demand Side Platform (DSP). The role involves mentoring engineers, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Technical Operations teams, and supporting Viant DSP. Responsibilities include defining long-term technical vision, leading product development, owning major features, working with cross-functional teams and customers, mentoring engineers, and driving initiatives to reduce operational load. Requirements include 12+ years software industry experience, proficiency in Go or AdTech domain experience, experience with web services/microservices/SOA, relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle), and complex SQL. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, knowledge of data structures and algorithms, Java and Go programming, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and NoSQL experience. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Salary range is $190,000 - $260,000.
