Full job description

Seeking a scientist with deep programmatic and advertising experience to develop and apply analytics methods for Amazon Ads data. Responsibilities include analyzing data trends affecting advertiser performance, presenting insights to senior leaders, formalizing analytics for DSP auctions, defining KPIs, partnering with engineering on data logging, validating financial models, and developing ad revenue analytics. Requires 10+ years tech experience, bachelor's degree, deep ad tech knowledge including AI, and advanced modeling skills.

What you'll do

  • Analyze data trends regarding supply, optimization, ad load, and advertising mix effects
  • Present papers to senior leaders on feature development impact and ad selection system changes
  • Formalize analytics approach to DSP auctions by analyzing bid spreads, auction depth, and simulating impacts
  • Identify, standardize, and operationalize KPIs to measure ad serving system performance
  • Partner with engineering teams to define data logging requirements and prioritize them
  • Validate financial models through analysis
  • Develop and own ad revenue and supply intelligence analytics decks
  • Work closely with business leaders and engineers on developing common data architecture
  • Analyze data and present actionable insights reports

Requirements

  • 10+ years of tech industry or equivalent experience
  • Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Deep experience in advertising technology including AI in AdTech
  • Demonstrated ability to do advanced modeling and experimentation
