Full job description

Hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoft Advertising’s Smart Bidding products. Requires deep AI/ML expertise, strong technical background in APIs, infrastructure, and AI modeling, and experience defining product vision with measurable business impact. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, OKR/KPI tracking, and go-to-market planning. Requires Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in product/service/program management or software development. Role is full-time, on-site in Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA. Salary range USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year in most U.S. locations; higher in SF Bay Area and NYC.

What you'll do

  • Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Microsoft Advertising’s Smart Bidding products
  • Partner closely with Data Science, Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Legal, and Finance to design solutions that maximize advertiser value
  • Integrate AI-first thinking into product strategy
  • Define product vision that drives significant business impact
  • Manage stakeholders and influence senior leadership
  • Define and track OKRs/KPIs
  • Plan go-to-market and product launches

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market
  • 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market
  • 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience
  • Deep AI/ML expertise with ability to integrate AI-first thinking into strategy
  • Strong technical background (APIs, infrastructure, AI modeling)
  • Track record of defining product vision that drives significant business impact
  • Expert stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills with OKR/KPI definition and tracking experience
  • Go-to-market planning and product launch experience
